Use this guide after Microsoft Office 2024 Professional Plus has been installed using the instructions supplied with your Ecokeys order.

Step 1 — Open Microsoft Word

Select the Start button and type:

Open Microsoft Word.

Step 2 — Check for an Activation Prompt

When Word opens, Microsoft may display a message asking you to activate Office or enter a product key.

If this appears, follow the activation instructions supplied with your Ecokeys order and enter the licence supplied for this installation when requested.

Step 3 — Open the Office Account Page

If Word opens normally, select:

Look at the Product Information section.

Step 4 — Enter the Licence If Required

If your Office installation shows an option to enter, change or switch the product licence, use the licence supplied with your Ecokeys order.

Complete the activation prompts shown by Microsoft.

Step 5 — Confirm the Activation Status

Close Word and open it again.

Then go back to:

Check what Office now shows.

Leave the File → Account page open and take a screenshot of the complete Product Information area.

Return to your Ecokeys Support Check and upload the screenshot. We can then identify the activation state without asking you to reinstall Office unnecessarily.
